INCLUSIONS
We want your stay to be carefree, so all your meals, beverages including alcohol, dining experiences, and activities are included in the nightly rate.
Please note airfares and island transfers are not included, however, our reservations team can certainly assist with arranging your arrival and departure travel plans.

POLICIES
Turtle Island is typically adults-only and welcomes adult couples year round.
Families are welcome at certain times each year during Family Time. To learn more about Family Time on Turtle Island, please visit www.turtlefiji.com/experiences/family-time/
Turtle Island has a minimum stay of 5 nights, but a longer stay is recommended to fully experience all of the unique aspects and activities of the island.
Our standard Check-in is 2:00 PM and Check-out is 10:00 AM.
Turtle Island has a day room available for guests to use until your island transfer departure and you are welcome to continue enjoying resort facilities and activities until your departure.
Turtle Island’s minimum occupancy is 2 adults per room. Our resort is designed for couples (or families during specified family times), and while we welcome single adults traveling with family members, we do not accept solo travelers.
During Family Time, we can accommodate up to 5 children per villa.
You are welcome to reserve our 500-acre private island exclusively for you and your invited friends. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required to reserve Turtle Island.
RESORT
Turtle Island hosts up to 14 couples or families at a time.
We have a small saltwater pool at our Cliff Point dining location perfect for a post-lunch or dinner dip.
Turtle Island has 12 private beaches and is surrounded by the beautiful blue lagoon. Guests can reserve an entire beach for the day for private dining and swimming.
Yes, laundry service is complimentary and available daily. Please note dry cleaning is not available.
In Fiji the associated plug type is I (three flat pins in a triangular pattern, same as Australia).
On Turtle Island we have installed dual plugs for USA and AUS appliances. The current is both 110- and 240-volts AC.

Yes, there is a boutique on Turtle Island with clothing, gifts, souvenirs, and some toiletries items for purchase.
LOCATION
You can travel to Turtle Island by seaplane, speed boat or catamaran ferry from Nadi, a town on the mainland of Fiji where the international airport is located.
It takes the following travel times from Nadi to Turtle Island :
- 30-minutes by seaplane
- 2-hours by speed boat
- 4-hours by catamaran ferry
Most of our guests choose to book seaplane transfers with Turtle Airways. Our reservations team will be happy to assist with arranging your island transfers.
23kg (50lbs) per person plus 1 small carryon piece that can comfortably fit on your lap.
On occasion, overweight/excess luggage may be transferred on a later flight, therefore, we recommend packing a day bag with your swimsuit and essential items so you can enjoy the island as soon as you arrive.
The Fiji islands boast some of the best weather in the world year-round, a reason why the islands are such a popular vacation destination. Mild and pleasant temperatures of around 25-30 degrees celsius (77-86 degrees fahrenheit) are common in any given month.

TRAVELING TO FIJI
You do not need to apply for a visa if your passport was issued from one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or United States.
For other countries, please check the Fiji government website www.immigration.gov.fj/travel-requirements/visa-exempted-countries
Fiji is quarantine free for fully-vaccinated travelers from all over the world. Travelers are required to produce proof of the following at the airport before your departure for Fiji:
1) Vaccinations
- Travelers (16yrs+) must produce a digital/paper certification that confirms they have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19 for at least 14-days before traveling to Fiji.
- Fiji currently recognises AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Coronavac (Sinovac), Covishield, BBIBP-CorV (Sinopharm), Covaxin and Sputnik V. vaccines only.
- Please note that fully-vaccinated means that you have received the recommended number of initial doses (usually 2) of a vaccine that Fiji recognises. Vaccine booster shots are considered as additional protection to full-vaccination.
- Travelers can be accompanied by their unvaccinated children.
2) Travel Insurance
- For travelers entering Fiji for a vacation: medical travel insurance, with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling.

Yes, everyone 16 years and older must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.

Fiji does not require that you provide a negative Covid-19 test result to enter the country.
However, although not mandatory, we recommend that you also test at home prior to coming to Fiji (especially if you have symptoms) to ensure you’re Covid-19 free before you board the plane.

To align to new safe travel norms, the Fijian tourism industry has adopted the Care Fiji Commitment (CFC); a WHO-approved standard of best-practice health and safety measures. These industry-wide standards apply to accommodation, activity operators and transfers and include the appointment of Wellness Ambassadors to ensure that COVID-safe protocols are managed, monitored and staff trained across their business. All Care Fiji certified businesses are 100% vaccinated.
The CFC provides the highest standard of health and safety to our visitors. This includes access to isolation facilities and medical care such as testing, routine staff swabbing, escalation protocols in the event of positive cases by private medical practitioners affiliated with the property.

Yes, you can move around Fiji and Turtle Island from the moment you arrive. Fiji is quarantine free for fully-vaccinated visitors from all over the world.
On arrival you can start exploring Fiji and travel to outer islands including Turtle Island. Guests can leave your hotel to do tours, tourism experiences and visit venues as soon as you’ve checked-in.
However, to keep everyone safe, we recommend staying at a Care Fiji Commitment (CFC) certified accommodation and using CFC certified transfers wherever possible.

Yes, if you are visiting Fiji and Turtle Island on vacation and are fully vaccinated, your unvaccinated children (below 16 years old) are most welcome to join you on a fun-filled family getaway.

Depending on your country’s entry requirements, you may need to record a negative test result to return home.
If you feel sick and test positive for Covid-19 during your stay in Fiji, you will be required to undergo 5 days of isolation.
Should your home country or insurance provider require a PCR confirmation, this can be facilitated at Turtle Island Resort at your cost.
