Every Sunday evening, Turtle Island goes back to its roots and plays the movie that started it all... The Blue Lagoon. This year marks the 35th Anniversary of Turtle Island, and to celebrate the culture, history, and heritage of place, Blue Lagoon Star Christopher Atkins, and Producer Randal Kleiser have joined us to commemorate this momentous occasion.

The evening began with cocktails and dinner in one of the most unique and stunning landscapes on the entire island... the dinner table was set amongst brilliant soaring cliff faces and beautiful mahogany trees, planted by Richard 35 years ago. The atmosphere was incredible, a truly unique experience for our guests.

Dinner was Mongolian-style, cooked for you on our grill, just steps away from the dinner table. Just as our guests finished their dessert, Fijian warriors and the Turtle Island choir came slowly towards them out of the darkness, lighting up fire torches and singing along the way. After singing a couple of traditional Fijian Hyms, it was show time!

Christopher and Randal introduced The Blue Lagoon movie to our guests, as well as described the emotion of being back on Turtle Island after all these years. The outdoor cinema was jaw-dropping. Our bar staff served cocktails, Champagne and popcorn, while Randal provided some commentary by pointing out which island locations they were at, and what was happening behind the scenes. After the film, our guests gave Christopher and Randal a round of applause and asked questions about the filming of the movie. This is a life-long memory for our guests, and they were so thrilled to be involved and have the opportunity to experience this magical evening...
