The fruit is 100% barrel fermented in French Oak and allowed to remain on lees for 5 months before bottling. The wine is full bodied and dominated by aromas of stone fruit and savoury oak.

Seresin Chardonnay 2002 Marlborough, New Zealand
This wine achieves great standards of individuality, complexity, quality and consistency. The fruit was well exposed in the vineyard and harvested at exactly the optimal physiological moment. Part of the blend was fermented in French oak whilst the balance was fermented in stainless tanks to ensure no wood character dominance.
The wine is complex, and has great texture and integration. An amazing example of a fine New Zealand Chardonnay.

The fruit for this wine was sourced in the Wiamata Valley north of Gisborne. Hand picked and then lightly crushed, the wine has well balanced character. Ripe fruit flavours of stone fruit, hints of honey and citrus on the palate provide a wonderful refreshing drinking experience.

A hue of brilliant platinum beckons from the glass followed by the scent of chardonnay flowers in full bloom. Exuberant acidity awakens the palate, suggesting refreshing elements of citrus and lime zest.
